I Thought I Knew Love..

I thought I knew love… until I held my daughter for the first time. It’s as if my capacity to love was amplified to the millionth degree. I never knew I could love someone so much. You don’t know the lengths your love can go until you have a child. This is not to say that individuals that don’t become parents don’t love. Absolutely they do, just in a different way. It hits completely different when you are staring at your child. The responsibility is immense and daunting at times, but the connection and exchange of love you experience is priceless.

To my little cherry blossom:

Thank you for teaching me a new meaning of love. Thank you for pushing the limits I thought I had on love. It is both an honor and privilege to be your Mommy. I hope to make you proud! Loving you is the easiest decision to make everyday.
