I “Melipen” am a Colombian-American, NJ native. As a young girl, I was mesmerized by killer whales and wanted to become a marine biologist. That dream quickly dissolved after realizing I was sea sick prone when I went whale watching in Cape Cod as a 4th grader. I am a biology graduate and have zero plans on furthering my education. I am a kid at heart and after an interaction with me, you will be aware of it. I have a very odd sense of humor, one that only few understand. My love has no boundaries, I am willing to do anything for my loved ones. Some of my hobbies are: lip-syncing in the car, dancing in front of my mirror, reading, audiobooks, podcasts, and pretending to be a professional photographer. I take pride in being authentic, loyal, and making others feel heard/seen. My hope is that this blog sparks an interest in journaling in your lives.
