Dear Maui,
You came to us at probably the most pivotal time of our lives. And yet, I would not have wanted it any other way. You bring so much joy into our lives and just the right amount of craziness. A dog’s love is unconditional they say and your love is no exception. The way you wait for us to get up from bed in the mornings and patiently look at us from afar. The way you wait for us in the same exact spot until we go downstairs. The way you flop over for belly rubs each time we get home from work. All of these are just some of the many manifestations of your love for us. Thank you for making us laugh when you hide your little tennis balls under the couch and then cry for us to get them out. Thank you for barking at us when you want to play. Thank you for licking us when we reprimand you. But most of all, thank you for being the ultimate companion we needed in our home. We are so blessed to finally have you home with us. The wait was worth it. Welcome to the pack buddy! We love you infinitely mi pequeñín hermoso.
