Take a seat

It’s been a while

Look me in the eyes

Don’t speak

Let our eyes do the talking

Words are meaningless

Time is fleeting

Our eyes locked

That is all I want

That is all I need

I had not heard this song in years, and for some reason it popped into my head recently. The last verse sticks out to me the most.

“More than anything I want to

See you, girl

Take a glorious bite of the whole world”

This song depicts love at its core, letting go yet loving on.
